About Us

The vision of the Choctaw Cultural Center is to offer an immersive experience that unites all generations with the Chahta journey. From the young child coloring a picture in the Luksi Activity Center and the grown-up learning about Choctaw history in the exhibits to families enjoying hands-on experiences like making beaded jewelry or cooking frybread in the demonstration classrooms, the memories made in this beautiful place will endure and become part of our story.

Located in Durant, Oklahoma, the Choctaw Cultural Center includes over 100,000 square feet of engaging exhibitions, a vast Living Village, classrooms, a theater, a café, and retail that combine to honor and promote the Chahta spirit of faith, family, and culture.
