The much-anticipated opening of the Choctaw Cultural Center is scheduled for July 23. The Cultural Center, located on Highway 75 in Durant, Oklahoma, uses interactive and immersive exhibits and cutting-edge technology to tell the story of the Choctaw people, which spans over 14,000 years.

A ground breaking ceremony was held in Durant with more than two hundred people in attendance, including the Choctaw Nation Tribal Council, tribal elders and officials from the Chickasaw Nation, City of Durant and Bryan County.
The Choctaw Cultural Center is conveniently located off Highway 75 in Calera, Oklahoma. In the immediate vicinity, guests will also find the Choctaw Nation’s Headquarters, dining and entertainment options and Travel Plazas.
