Luksi Activity Center

Whether they’re young or young at heart, the Luksi Activity Center shows guests just how much fun learning can be! Bring your little ones to enjoy the many educational and entertaining happenings inside the Luksi Activity Center. Our open-play area is the perfect place to sit at a kid-sized table and unleash their creativity on Choctaw coloring sheets or take part in one of our children’s workshops. We celebrate Choctaw stories that are passed down from generation to generation through children’s short films, readers theater events, and interactive puppet shows.

Other fun areas to explore are the log cabin, the summer chukka (house), and the treehouse — where kids can look out over the Activity Center — and then they can slide down the log slide, just like Chief Batton did!

The highlight of the Activity Center is Luksi, the alligator snapping turtle. Crawl inside Luksi’s shell and snuggle up with one of our children’s books for an unforgettable story.
